Great small restaurant with great food and great service!

We ate in Santos Resto with four people after reading the good reviews on tripadvisor.
It is a small restaurant which makes it very cosy. The staff is really great. We were advised on good wines for a good price and the service we got from Magdalena was great!
The menu is small but the dishes are great.
This restaurant is definitely reccomended by me!

Loved it!

We went to Santos Resto based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and loved it.
Santos is very small (approx 10 tables) and not in an obvious location. The waiter's English was great and he helped us through the menu. My husband and I shared the antipasti for starter (very tasty), and we had steak 'lomo' and pork for main which were both delicious. All washed down with a very nice bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.
The service was as attentive as it needed to be without being intrusive, and overall was very good value. If we were in Bariloche for another night we'd be going again.

Intimate, attentive, delicious!

We decided to eat at Santos Resto based on the great reviews it has received on TripAdvisor, and we are so glad we did. This friendly bistro is both elegant and comfortable. Despite a central location, it feels a world away from the tourist havens of Bariloche. The food was fresh, flavorful, and filling. Everything we had, we loved: from the house offered pisco sours and hours d'oeurves to our entrees and wine. This restaurant should be at the top of your list!

Feeling at home in Patagonia with Sylvio and Paula

Once you walk through the doors of Santos on Espagne Calle (a block from the main square), you feel as if you have entered an upscale yet relaxed bistro. Silvio, the owner, has created a warm and friendly ambiance with his girlfriend, Paula. Together, they make you feel as if you are guests in their home. Silvio goes from table to table explaining the menu and regaling his guests with stories about his beloved country. Every dish we ordered was not only pleasing to the palette but also to the eye. We loved the fresh trout, mozzarella in phyllo and the dulce de leche mousse over brownie - a must! That was our first night. The second night, we had a chicken tart, pork dinner special and helado with strawberries. Kudos to the young and talented chef - Leandro Pavese. Silvio chose a Rose for the first night and a fabulous Malbec for the second night. We highly recommend ths well-priced restaurant with excellent sevice and incredibly tasty fare. When you're at Santos, expect to spend the evening with Silvio and Paula and don't be surprised if you find yourself partying with everyone in the entire restaurant. Oh, and one more thing, there was a birthday party in the upstairs dining room that looked like a lot of fun, so if you are a large group you couldn't find a better venue.
